Though Hannah is a horse, she aspires to be a Unicorn.

She and her little brother Harry are the fun-loving characters from our YouTube channel “Hannah the Horse”.

​

“Hannah the Horse” was created with the idea that early Education - with the right resources - can be made fun for babies, toddlers and kids and easy for parents and teachers.

​

Our “Hannah the Horse” Team is dedicated to creating and recommending awesome Early Education resources for Young Learners Ages 0-5 Years (up to 8 Years where English is a Second Language).

​

Through years of extensive research, we have found that these resources work well and we use them ourselves.

​

Just as Hannah tries to be unique in her “Unicorn” character, our Team seeks to provide a unique approach to Early Learning as we believe that every child is unique and special.

​

The “Unicorn” character provides a great channel for the imagination and creative, out-of-the-box thinking.

​

We found it is very important to find the unique side of the child you are working with and use this as a tool for learning and motivation.

​

For example, Little Sasha likes dinosaurs. Using this knowledge, the teacher or parent can cater the learning experience to include dinosaurs. Like learning colours with dinosaur toys, learning to write with dinosaur print outs, learning to read with books on dinosaurs, etc.

​

In this example, instead of printing any colouring page, the teacher/parent prints a dinosaur colouring page to encourage Sasha to colour, which is often not easy for little ones.

​

This way Sasha is more likely to finish colouring a favourite dino character, without even realizing that you were working on the development of Sasha’s fine motor skills all along. This way you graft love for learning and art, rather than forcing colouring pages from a certain curriculum that might not be Sasha’s favourite. Hence, learning will become fun and exciting, instead of a drag or a chore.
